• Texas Realtor since 1989; New Mexico real estate license in 1974.
• Planned, developed, financed and sold condominium project near SMU, 1999
• Bought, renovated, and sold several houses in the Dallas Preston Hollow area and in West Texas
• Owned a public relations business in Dallas with a number of corporate cients
• Developed a corporate communications program for a Dallas Fortune 500 company
• Worked in planning and administration positions in non-profit agencies in New Mexico and Arkansas
• Has volunteered and served on various civic and arts boards in Texas, New Mexico and Arkansas
• Attended college in Columbia, MO and TCU, graduating with a master's degree in communications from the University of New Mexico
• Grew up in West Texas in Big Spring, Odessa, and Midland
• Has four children, six grandchildren
