Although born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Cindy's family originates from Texas. Cindy earned an Honors Bachelors degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters in Business Management from the University of Southern California.

Cindy is an active member of Junior League of Dallas, Committee Chair for the American Red Cross, Dallas Opera, and Chair of The Ivy Club Dallas Arboretum.
