I grew up at 9131 Devonshire, Dallas and 4212 Edmondson, Dallas 75205. I have a degree from the University of Texas in French and International Business. I have taken a number of graduate business courses.
My work history began young…with a knack and passion for people and relationships. I loved the creativity and energy of sales, inventory and “out of the box” marketing, and I enjoy listening to people.
The fun challenge of acquiring or selling someone’s biggest asset, dream home or investment, well.,.challenging and fulfilling. I take the search as my own.
I have a history of real estate investment and building for myself. I have done this since I was in my early twenties. It has only become a career in the last years!
I come to my second career, real estate, with a strong business and “number” background. I have honed excellent negotiation skills as well as marketing techniques. These have all been key to my past success as a sole proprietor and entrepreneur.
I have successfully navigated onsite sales…Commercial buildings and raw land. I am still involved professionally in build projects in Highland Park and on an International Island in the Caribbean called Roatan.
Obviously, I have been given wonderful opportunities and skills to work as a team…Delegating and cooperation are skills I continue to hone and enjoy sharpening. My partner, Janelle Law, and my commercial realtor husband are a big help in my instruction!!!
The first business I built was a wholesale, retail and manufacturing company in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The business was called Boucher, after my dear maternal grandfather, and my middle name. It began as a hobby in the early 80’s and I expanded it to fruition and happy completion with its sale in 1998.
I have purchased and sold houses “by owner” a number of times and believe our modern market has a time and place for all transactions. It also allows me the very real perspective of my clients. I have been fortunate and comfortable in my role as a realtor…I enjoy the multiple roles…and look forward to meeting other clients and friends.
